Compassionate counselling to help you navigate life’s challenges, explore your feelings and emotions. Supporting your self-discovery and growth.

“Hello my name is Emma, I’m a person-centred counsellor and I live in Cornwall. I’m a member of the BACP - British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I’m qualified to work with individual clients face-to-face, online and via telephone. I have flexible working hours to accommodate the busy lives we all lead…it’s important to find time for ourselves when we can.”

What My Clients Say

“Emma came to each session with compassion and an open mind, although I didn’t initially like the idea of counselling, I was put at ease by Emma and relaxed into it very easily, these sessions were a time to fully off load and release the things that were keeping me from evolving. I highly recommend Emma, thank-you!”

“Emma has by far been the best counsellor I have had. She supports and listens without judgement and with genuine empathy. I find it hard to gel with people as my situation is not easy to talk about however talking with Emma is like talking to a friend but as a professional with boundaries. Thank you Emma! :).”

“Speaking with Emma enabled me to move on with my life with a renewed sense of purpose and optimism.

I was free to open up about past events in my life and felt safe to discuss feelings and worries.

We discussed practical strategies I could use in my everyday life.

Our sessions were invaluable in helping me and myself again and see a brighter future ahead.

Thank you Emma”

"I usually find it hard to open up, but Emma created a space where I felt truly safe and understood. She was calm, non-judgmental, and made our sessions feel like a natural conversation. I appreciated that she gently challenged some of my assumptions. It wasn’t just validation, it was actually useful and helped me to recognise some of the blindspots in my thinking/reasons behind some of my less-than-healthy behaviours. She also helped me develop personal tools to manage things on my own, which has made a lasting difference."
